[Description]
A white or almost white crystalline powder, odorless.
[Indications]
(1) Epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis;
(2) Actinomycosis;
(3) Gonorrhoea;
(4) Vincent’s angina;
(5) Lyme disease;
(6) Rat-bite fever;
(7) Listeriosis;
(8) Other infections that caused by anaerobic bacteria except for bacteroides fragilis.
It may also be used for prevention of mouth, dentistry, gastrointestinal tract or uinary tract infections in surgical procedures for patients who have had rheumatic or congenital heart disease.
